Hello, I’m Luis Moreno — a cybersecurity enthusiast and lifelong learner. Thank you for visiting my blog. Here you’ll find a collection of my projects and technical articles, mostly focused on cybersecurity, but also on other interests such as music, sports, philosophy, lifestyle, and global events that, in one way or another, impact us or simply capture my attention.
My hope is that something you find here is useful or or simply fun. And if you feel like sharing what you’re passionate about, even better, I like to learn from everybody.
Below are some of the projects I’m currently involved in. You might find something worth joining:
Hackvolution.io is a project designed for anyone interested in entering the fascinating world of Information Technology and Cybersecurity. It offers free training to help you start your career and become an ethical hacker.
For most of my career, I’ve worked with multinational companies and the financial sector — organizations with the resources to invest in professional pentesting and advanced security services. However, while working closely with small and medium-sized businesses, I noticed a significant gap: high-quality cybersecurity services were often too expensive or simply out of reach.
That’s why I teamed up with friends and launched Kolibërs Group — to bring specialized and accessible security services to the companies that truly sustain our economies. SMEs make up more than 95% of businesses worldwide.
We conducted our first professional pentest in 2009, and formally established the company in 2018. If you run an NGO, feel free to reach out — your assessment may be free.
Mexico City Cybersecurity Meetup Group
In this meetup, we work to make cybersecurity more accessible and human. We meet once a month for in-person sessions where we share knowledge, experiences, and insights related to cybersecurity.
